Account & Data Deletion Request – Next Generation Book Club
We value your privacy and give you full control over your personal data.
How to Request Account Deletion
You can request account and data deletion in one of the following ways:
- 📧 Email Us: Send an email to nextgenerationbookclub@gmail.com with your username and the subject line:
Account Deletion Request. - 💬 Chat With Us Through the App:
- Open the app
- Go to the Menu
- Select Chat with Us
- Send a message saying “Delete my account” and include your username
What Will Be Deleted?
If you request account deletion, the following data will be permanently deleted:
- ✅ Your account (including all associated personal details) will be permanently deleted
- ✅ Your email, username, and subscription status will be removed from our system
- ❌ We do not store your reading progress, notes, or highlights — these are saved only on your device
- ❌ Any uploaded books, images, or files are stored locally on your device and will not be deleted from our servers
Full Control Over Local Data
You have full control over all personal data stored on your device. This includes:
- 📚 Your reading activity and progress
- ✍️ Your reading highlights and notes
- 📂 Any books, images, or uploads from your local storage
To delete all of this data, you can use the app delete features or simply uninstall the app from your device. All associated local files will be automatically removed from your device.
Deletion Timeline
Your account deletion request will be processed within 24 hours after we receive your request, either by email or in-app chat.
